Healing Dentures – Healing dentures or partials are placed the same day teeth are extracted. Our patients wear healing dentures or partials for 6-8 months while the bone ridge and gums shrink. Then we take impressions of the healed bone ridge and make a new denture or partial.
Significant changes take place during the first 3 months after extractions; the bone and gums shrink, reshape and gaps develop between bone ridge and denture
Our patients wear healing dentures for 3-4 months after extractions. We help them through the healing process with soft-liners to close gaps
After 6-8 months of healing, we take new impressions and make a new set of dentures
Complete dentures
Our patients get to see the dentures in their mouth, request changes and get the smile they want.
The new dentures fit well over the healed bone ridge which improves chewing ability, control and appearance

Complete Dentures – Complete dentures are made over healed bone ridges. A set includes upper and lower dentures for people without any teeth. Some people only require an upper or a lower denture. Complete dentures typically last 5 to 10 years given proper care.
